DELL AND WINDOWS JOIN TO HELP ELIMINATE AIDS IN
AFRICA

WA, January 24, 2008 - Dell's Consumer business and
Windows today announced a joint partnership with (RED)
that funds the purchase of life-saving medicine and
connects consumers personally to the fight against AIDS
in Africa.
Each purchase of a (DELL)
RED personal computer powered by WINDOWS VISTA RED contributes
$50 to $80 to The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis
and Malaria. The funds go directly into an account used
exclusively for programs to help women and children
living with HIV/AIDS in Africa. An $80 contribution
can provide an individual more than six months of life-saving
antiretroviral treatment.
All (DELL) RED products incorporate
the color red and distinctive (RED) branding. (DELL)
