OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE AWARENESS
ABOUT THE IMPACT OF EYE DISEASE AND VISUAL IMPAIRMENT,
PARTICULARLY AMONG CHICAGO'S MINORITY POPULATIONS WHO
OFTEN TIMES LACK ACCESS TO CARE. WITH THE HELP OF DOZENS
OF OPHTHALMOLOGISTS, WE WILL SPEND THE DAY SCREENING
AS MANY INDIVDUALS AS POSSIBLE AND REFERRING THOSE WITH
SERIOUS EYE CONDITIONS ON TO ADDITIONAL CARE.

The screening is made possible
with the help of Chicago area ophthalmologists, the
Illinois Association of Ophthalmology, local health
departments and community clinics to provide further
sources for care. For more information, visit www.geteyesmart.org.
