An organization's business
choices that support the environment such as recycling,
energy conservation and vendor selection have a significant
influence on employees' engagement levels, according
to a new survey regarding green work initiatives.
Anne Herman, a research consultant
with Kenexa Research Institute, that released results
from the WorkTrends survey to coincide with Earth Day
2008, says going green" is not only good for the environment,
but increases an organization's competitive advantage
in hiring and retaining employees.
