Fireworks 911 Call

At the age of 6, Matt Methling
found an M-80 in his home, ignited it, and it exploded
in his face leaving him with facial lacerations and
burns.

This is the fire department,
what's the matter? I blowed my eye mommy.
You broke your eye?
I blowed my eye. My eye is broken and I got a big
hole in my lip. I can't see. I'm bleeding everywhere.
That's okay honey, they'll
take care of it. All over my new shirt too. Well
honey, it's okay. I can't breathe very well. Hurry!
Matthew's message to others
is: Don't play with fire or fireworks, because this
is what could happen to you, or worse.
