Host of Trading Spaces, Paige Davis

SHE'S BACK! VIEWER FAVORITE PAIGE DAVIS RETURNS TO TRADING SPACES

January 2008

Silver Spring, MD - Responding to overwhelming viewer demand, TLC has announced that they completed a deal to bring Paige Davis back to TRADING SPACES, the series that redefined home design. During her reign, the show grew to be the #1 show on cable on Saturday nights. Now, more than two years after parting ways, Davis comes back to TLC to host the new 2008 season of TRADING SPACES, launching on Saturday, January 26, 2008.

After departing, Davis held an exclusive development deal with King World/CBS. She returned to Broadway starring in the musical Chicago and later toured the country in the Broadway hit Sweet Charity. And she recently premiered her solo cabaret show.

Davis is working with the network to choose the "family" of designers for the series, bringing back many of her closest friends and new faces to round out the cast. Other original cast members returning to the franchise include Doug Wilson, Laurie Hickson-Smith, Frank Bielec and Hildi Santo-Thomas. Joining them are cast members from more recent seasons like carpenter Faber Dewar and designer Edward Walker.

Welcoming back Davis and some of the series original cast members while also infusing it with an updated look and spirit will give viewers an exciting new season filled with the smart, innovative design (and likely more than a few debacles) - just what they've come to love about the program. And, with the season filmed entirely in HD, viewers will see the spectacular reveals in amazing clarity on TLC's HD simulcast.

New to the series is A. Smith & Co., the production company behind the smash hits like "Hell's Kitchen" and "Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares.". The new season of TRADING SPACES will be infused with their unique style and ability to transform intense and exciting competition into engaging television.
