MICROSOFT TO GIVE AWAY 30,000 TRENDY TECH PRIZES & A GRAND PRIZE OF $100,000 TO USERS OF OFFICE LIVE WORKSPACE

Money woes don't have to keep people away from today's technology

April 2008

As the U.S. economy continues to slump, Microsoft is offering a chance for people to get their hands on today's hottest tech gadgets and enter for a big cash prize - for free.

By signing up for a free Office Live Workspace beta account, users are automatically entered in a contest, making them eligible for 30,000 prizes, including a grand prize of $100,000. Office Live Workspace lets people organize documents and projects online and work on them from almost any computer. People can save more than 1,000 Microsoft Office documents to one place online, and access and share them via the Web.

People need to sign-up for a workspace and enter to win by May 11, 2008 (U.S. based users only are eligible for sweepstakes prizes). Microsoft will award a grand prize of $100,000 and an assortment of more than 30,000 daily and weekly prizes to include Xbox 360 Elite Video Game Systems, Samsung Blackjack II Smartphone devices, 30GB Zune players, Expedia hotel and package coupons and Microsoft Office Professional 2007.
